OUR PROCESS
Initial Meeting
We’ll kick things off with a personal meeting to discuss your vision. This is your opportunity to share your ideas and learn what sets Gentry Custom Homes apart.
Lot Selection and Build Site
Whether you have a lot or need assistance finding one, our team is here to help. We’ll evaluate potential sites to ensure they fit your home and budget perfectly.
Plan Design
Once your lot is selected, we’ll collaborate closely to create a design that reflects your style and meets your needs. We’ll consider aspects like layout, size, and architectural style to ensure your new home is exactly what you envisioned.
Plan Completion
In this stage, we’ll review the finalized plans together and prepare a detailed construction estimate. We take into account your chosen amenities and ensure compliance with any subdivision or HOA requirements.
Transparency is key. We’ll go through the construction estimate line by line, allowing you to ask questions and ensure complete clarity on costs and expectations.
Review of Construction Estimate
Contract
Upon your approval of the estimate, we’ll move forward to the contract phase. We handle all necessary paperwork and requirements for your HOA, utilizing the Texas Association of Builders contract for your protection.
Construction Begins!
With the contract signed, we’re ready to break ground! Throughout construction, we will meet on-site to discuss items unique to your home.. Key steps include:
Excavation and Clearing of Property
Electrical and Audio Visual Reviews prior to Sheetrock
Cabinet Drawings
Trim Layouts for closets, pantries, and shelving
Paint Selections
Landscaping and Irrigation compliant with HOA/Subdivision requirements

Review of estimates for allowance items
As we near completion, we’ll conduct a final walk-through to review all construction items. You’ll also receive a comprehensive home orientation that covers features such as HVAC, Audio Visual, Irrigation, and Specialty Items.
Final Walk-Through
Congratulations! Every Gentry Custom Home includes a 10-Year Structural Warranty through StrucSure Home Warranty, giving you peace of mind as you create new memories in your new space.
